Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience here. I have a lot of thick, wavy hair that requires a really structured cut, especially when short, so I went in after a lot of research on my part and a photo of what I wanted, which was a cut specifically tailored to my hair type. After getting my hair washed, I realized I might have enough to donate. After several minutes of trying to explain the word donate, she consulted with another stylist who confirmed they donated hair. My stylist had clearly never cut hair for donation. She sectioned it improperly (luckily another stylist came over to help before she started cutting), and then proceeded to cut BELOW the rubber band, which is also not how you should be doing it. When I brought it up, she basically ignored me and finished cutting below the band, dropping a lot of hair and getting it tangled while trying to tie it after it had been cut. Also, since it was wet, I'm fairly certain my hair was not usable. If she didn't know how to cut for donation, she shouldn't have done it. That's several years of my hair just wasted because she didn't know what she was doing. She started my real cut, all the while making comments about how much hair I had, which was clearly causing her some trouble. The cut I asked for was a simple short type of bob with messy layers. The cut I got has no layers and has this really strange longer part in the back. It really looks nothing like the picture I showed her, to which even several male colleagues agreed! By the time it was done, I was confused and just wanted to leave. I was not comfortable going back to get it fixed as I did not trust the stylists, and was not willing to lose any more length for it to get fixed. The staff were all very friendly, and I was able to make an appointment very quickly. However, I'm very unsatisfied with the way my donation was handled and did not at all get the cut I wanted.
